I work closely with my clients to help ensure that their values are understood and reflected in their portfolios, while also helping to ensure that their legacies are planned, and their needs are met. My time in the community is spent volunteering and offering advice and guidance to organizations dedicated to improving our community and help its citizens. My volunteer work includes historic preservation, literacy, social service and civic organizations in and around Springfield IL.

Angela is a public historian born and raised in Springfield, Illinois. After spending many years away from the Land of Lincoln, she remembered that Midwest was truly best. She joined the OSC Foundation Board to give back to the place that helped launch her public history career. Angela’s favorite things include her family, history, museums, architecture, and dessert!

Chad Hesson is a Technical Analyst at Credit Union 1 with over a decade of experience in community outreach and engagement. As a board member of The Old State Capitol Foundation, Chad brings his passion for Springfield’s rich history and civic pride to support the Foundation’s mission of promoting the Old State Capitol, Lincoln Tomb, and Lincoln-Herndon Offices through educational and programmatic initiatives. His commitment to preserving and celebrating local heritage is rooted in a deep appreciation for the city and its historical significance.
